nap cottage: part 3

I’m late in getting all of this up… our intensive came to an end, and Apro is settling down for the winter as I ease back in Portland. Unfortunately, I fell off the sketching-wagon when the time to do our natural wall systems (light-clay-straw and slip’n’chip), alaska-stove-mass-heater, and earthen floor came around (led by some incredible and inspiring people including Erica Ann, Max and Eva Edleson, and Sukita Crimmel). Really, I was wanting to be more present–I’d felt like in trying to put everything down as we worked, I was missing a lot of hands on time. It’s all up there though, floating around waiting to be put to paper. You can always check out the Apro Vecho facebook page if you can’t resist seeing the rest of the project. But, voila! Some captured moments of life constructing a tiny home…
